An article on Genes to Genomes from the Genetics Society of America has featured the CourseSource lesson, Linking Genotype to Phenotype: The Effect of a Mutation in Gibberellic Acid Production on Plant Germination.  This lesson was created by The Arabidopsis Biological Resource Center (ABRC) and explores the effect of the plant hormone gibberellic acid on Arabidopsis germination.  ABRC collaborated with Jennifer Larson, an undergraduate lecturer who provided information regarding hands on experience using the experiment in classroom and lecture hall settings.  The article on Genes to Genomes recommends this lesson along with several other CourseSource articles for genetics teachers looking for new course ideas.
