Earned his B.S. in Crop Science from The Ohio State University in 2012. During his undergrad he interned at the Ornamental Plant Germplasm Center, a USDA seed bank, focusing on hybridization and seed production in the genus Begonia. After graduation worked in the seed industry for a brief period before returning to Ohio State to the position of Assistant Curator at the ABRC. He worked in the seed facility of ABRC, where his main duties were the growth and care of stocks in controlled environment chambers and the greenhouses. He currently works in the DNA facility processing orders and performing DNA quality control.
