Enhanced gene expression in response to low-temperature conditions; plants are less cold hardy than the wild type; nonetheless, after 2 days of cold acclimation, plants acquired the same degree of freezing tolerance as did the wild type; early flowering and constitutively vernalized; plants are smaller, with fewer leaves, shorter siliques and less vigorous than wild type; kanamycin resistant (30mg/L).
