researcher reported that trichome phenotype is allelic to glabra2-1 reference allele. CS3125 has a 1-bp deletion in the 6th exon of GLABRA2/At1g79840 gene (codon 408: TCG to CG) resulting in frame-shift. Therefore, CS3125 is a new allele of GL2.
