102 Rightmire Hall

1060 Carmack Road, Columbus Ohio

The Arabidopsis Biological Resource Center is sponsoring a series of three science communication workshops open to researchers and scholars (faculty, postdocs, graduate students, research staff and broader impacts practioners) from all STEM disciplines at Ohio State. Two sessions will be offered for each of the three workshops. Registration is free, but space is limited. Attendees do not have to attend all three workshops, and are welcome to select only those that are of interest.

Workshop #1: Finding Common Language

This workshop will focus broadly on how people learn and effective communication strategies for a general audience. Participants will begin to identify core messages related to their research, and explore potential audiences for science communication initiatives.
