Description:
Sequence tagged Ds insertion line, generated by Agrobacterium tumefaciens root transformation of Landsberg erecta plants; kanamycin was employed for selection of plants carrying a Ds insertion (50ug/ml); potential gametophytic mutants were selected based on kanamycin segregation ratios <2:1. Reciprocal crosses were used to estimate female and male gametophytic transmission. Genomic DNA flanking the transposon insertion in each line was amplified by PCR and directly sequenced. Backrossed 2 times to Ler-0. Insertion: 141 bp upstream
