Description:

Set of seven CRISPR/Cas9 plasmids and three positive control seed stocks (cyan, yellow, and tomato fluorescent protein) for selection and counter-selection of transgenic plants on the basis of seed fluorescence. Suitable for small-scale genome editing experiments and minimal lab settings. Construction relies on standard molecular cloning techniques that require no specialized equipment or reagents, and transgenic seeds can easily be identified by illumination with inexpensive LED lights and colored-glass alternative emission filters.
