Description:
TT4 entry vectors containing left and right zinc finger nucleases (ZFNs) were recombined with pMDC7, giving rise to the T-DNA expression vector pFZ63, which was transformed into A.tumefaciens strain GV3101. Transformed Agrobacterium was used for floral dip transformation of Col plants. Transformed seeds were grown on Hygromycin as a selection marker and 17 beta-estradiol to induce the expression of the ZFN. T1 lines were selected based on production of seeds with colorless seed coats. Provided seeds represent T3 generation. May segregate ZFN transgene.
