synthetic allotetraploid LerxCare-1 (n=13), produced by pollinating the autotetraploid Arabidopsis thaliana (2n=4x=20) ecotype Landsberg erecta (Ler) (CS3900) with the natural autotetraploid (2n=4x=32) Arabidopsis arenosa (Care-1) (CS3901); F4 generation still segregating for some A. arenosa alleles; has a transgenic kanamycin resistance gene from a T-DNA of unknown nature.
Growth Requirement: prevent cross pollination, it may cross with A. thaliana and with other allotetraploids.
