This set of two stocks can be used with the "Molecular Genotyping of Arabidopsis" module to introduce students to the action of transposons, plant DNA extraction and the use of polymerase chain reaction (PCR) to compare diploid genotypes. A transposon insertion is identified in curly leaf (clf-2) mutant and Ler wild-type is used as a control.
