pcp-2 mutant derived from T-DNA insertion line SALK_119088 obtained from NASC. Homozygous individuals were identified by PCR-based genotyping.
Growth Requirement: Mutant phenotype only apparent at low ambient temperature (16 C). Mutant has to be cultivated at elevated ambient temperature (23 C) to obtain seeds.

Strong temperature-specific developmental defects of the shoot apical meristem and lateral organs, specifically at low ambient temperature (16 C). The mutant is infertile at 16 C but homozygous mutant seeds can be recovered from plants grown at 23 C ambient temperature, at which the plant appears essentially wild type.
