Intermediate petiole length between arr3,4,5,6 and the wild type (suggesting complex interactions between these genes); roots are shorter and have significantly fewer lateral roots than the wild type in the absence of exogenous cytokinin; increased cytokinin hypersensitivity in seedling root elongation, seedling lateral root formation, hypocotyls/ shoot initiation and leaf senescence delay; decreased sensitivity to red light compared to wild type.
