This kit can be used to demonstrate the concepts presented in the Teaching Tools in Plant Biology Development module “The floral transition and adaptation to a changing environment: From model species to cereal crops”. This module explores the transition from vegetative to reproductive growth and the environmental cues that govern this transition. The ten stocks in this kit represent some of the Arabidopsis natural accessions and mutants contributing to our understanding of this process. By growing and observing this set of seeds under different environmental conditions students will see the effect of various genotypes on the floral transition.
