Reduced ABA sensitivity, resulting in the following effects in the presence of abscisic acid:increased seed germination and root elongation, decreased stomatal closing and decreased ABA-induced cytosolic calcium elevations compared to wild type. ABA activation of plasma membrane Ca2+ channels is completely abolished. Reduced bacterial and fungal infection-induced ROS production.
