Description:
An amiR specific to At4g27870 (amiRat4g27870-1) was constructed. The constructed amiR was transferred into the binary vector pMDC7 to generate pMDC7/amiRat4g27870-1. This plasmid encodes the amiR gene under the control of the estradiol-inducible promoter. The plasmid was introduced into Agrobacterium GV3101 (pMP90RK) and then transformed into meb1-1 meb2-1 double mutants (CS69092). Homozygous for both mutations. Homozygous for the transgene.
Growth Requirement: 5 uM 17beta-estradiol is required for amiR expression.
