Description:
Isolated from a population of EMS-mutagenized seedlings homozygous for the T locus (CS69640) in a screen for enhanced expression of an alternatively spliced GFP reporter gene. hgf1-3 is a G318A nucleotide substitution resulting in a E76K amino acid substitution in the self-association domain at the N-terminus.
