Description:
Transgenic GFP-fusion expression line harboring the pATR8(AT3G48100)::ER-GFP:NOS #1 construct. The GFP reporter fusion construct was generated by using the MultiSite Gateway Three-Fragment Vector Construction system (Invitrogen); final construct in Agrobacterium was transformed into Columbia ecotype plants by using the floral dip method; transformed plants (T1) were selected with Basta on soil and 5 to 7-day-old T2 seedlings were grown and imaged by using confocal laser scanning microscopy; distributed seeds are T3.
Growth Requirement: Segregating for the transgene. basta resistant.

Transcription factor (TF) expressed in a tissue-enriched manner in roots: lateral root cap and columella from second layer (very strong) and stele procambium, meristematic and elongation zone (5/6; 3/5 6DAG); sporadic epididermis expression (4/5-6DAG)-not found in secondary observation; GFP in columella/lateral root cap/procambium (3/4; 5DAG); at 4.5% sucrose, stele procambium expression stops in elongation zone and columella expression is weaker (3/5, 6DAG).
