ProCESA6::GUS, transgenic line containing the cellulose synthase 6 (CESA6) promoter, E. coli B-glucuronidase (GUS) reporter gene; genomic fragments upstream of the CESA initiating AUG codon were amplified by PCR, cloned into pRITA upstream of the GUS gene; the promoter:GUS cassettes were then cloned at NotI fragments into the Ti plasmid pMLBART in the same orientation as the BAR gene.
