Description:
Transgenic line expressing ratiometric pH indicator Pt-GFP under the control of pGC1, a strong guard cell preferential promoter. The Pt-GFP cDNA was amplified from the construct pART7-Pt-GFP and subcloned into the binary expression vector pGreenII 0179-pGCP(D1)-terminator. The construct pGC1::Pt-GFP was transformed to the Agrobacterium strain GV3101-containing helper plasmid pSOUP and then introduced into Col-0 plants by the floral dip method. Hygromycin resistant. Homozygous for the transgene.
