Description:

ers1-1 transgenic line. Site-directed mutagenesis was used to create a nucleotide change in an ERS genomic DNA fragment, resulting in a Phe in place of Ile at residue 62 in the deduced protein sequence. A 5-kb DNA fragment containing the altered ERS gene was cloned into the plant transformation vector pGCN1547 and then transformed into No-0 plants. Kanamycin resistant.
