Description:
Independent transgenic line #1 containing the genetically encoded fluorescent biosensor Kinase Localization Reporter KLR-AP2C1. KLR-AP2C1 consists of a 35 aa section of the Arabidopsis protein PP2C-type phosphotase AP2C1, which serves as a kinase docking domain, a bipartite modified nuclear localization signal (bNLS) with two phosphosites, a nuclear localization signal (NLS), the mNeonGreen fluorophore, a T2A "self-cleaving" Thosea asigna virus 2A peptide, the mRuby3 fluorophore, and an NLS derived from simian virus 40 (SV40). Primary transformants were identified with an epifluorescence microscope and seed was collected from plants exhibiting strong fluorescence. Transgene genotype unknown.
