Description:
Trangenic line with PGX3 promoter-driven GUS expression. A 2072-bp promoter-containing fragment upstream of the PGX3 start codon was amplified from Col genomic DNA and cloned into pMDC162, which contains the GUS coding sequence, to generate a ProPGX3:GUS construct, which was then transformed into Col plants using the floral dip method. Hygromycin resistant. Homozygous for the transgene.
