nrg1 triple mutant, CRISPR/Cas9-generated triple mutant of NRG1 gene family (NRG1.1, NRG1.2, NRG1.3); large deletion spanning NRG1.1–NRG1.2 and frameshift in NRG1.3 confirmed by sequencing; Cas9-free seeds selected using FAST-Red marker; NRG1.2 (AT5G66910): T insertion after P57 (g110) introducing a premature stop codon (predicted protein size reduced from 79.4 to 7.32 kDa); NRG1.1 (AT5G66900) & NRG1.2 (AT5G66910): large 5.9 kb deletion starting from V160 in NRG1.2, spanning the entire NRG1.1 locus, and ending at N15 in NRG1.3 (g045) resulting in complete loss of NRG1.1 and truncation of NRG1.2; NRG1.3 (AT5G66920): large 5.9 kb deletion extends into NRG1.3 (g045), removing the start codon, in addition an 8 bp deletion between D29–I32 (g41) abolishes functional translation initiation
