adr1 nrg1 combined triple mutants, CRISPR/Cas9-generated higher-order mutant combining adr1-triple and nrg1-triple alleles; Cas9-free seeds selected using FAST-Red marker; validated by sequencing; ADR1 family (AT1G33560, AT4G33300, AT5G04720): same mutations as adr1-triple (CR-14-1-2, CS), leading to loss-of-function in ADR1, ADR1-L1, and ADR1-L2; NRG1.2 (AT5G66910): AG insertion at R53 (g110), A deletion at D54, GG deletion at W59, plus a 3.4 kb deletion extending from W158 (g132) in NRG1.2 through D326 (g132) in NRG1.1 (predicted protein size reduced from 79.4 to 6.72 kDa); NRG1.1 (AT5G66900): deleted upstream of D326, removing the start codon (no functional protein); NRG1.3 (AT5G66920): 49 bp deletion between g045 and g041, resulting in a truncated protein (size reduced from 47.6 to 1.72 kDa)
