A double knockout mutant displaying defects in cell elongation, pollen germination and pollen tube elongation as well as low levels of HG methylesterification; cgr3-1 is derived from WiscDsLox413–416K8 (CS854710)
Growth Requirement: store seeds at 4C or -20C for long-term viability; plants are screened on 1/2 MS medium supplemented with Gamborg's B5 vitamins and 20 microg ml 1 of hygromycin, before being transferred to soil and grown at 22C, 50% RH, and 16:8 photoperiod
