Description:

set of 100 pools of M2 seed from an EMS mutagenized Columbia-0 (CS70000) population; 125,000 seeds were incubated for 17 hours at room temperature in 5 mL 0.4% (v/v) EMS, neutralization was performed by adding 5 mL 1M sodium thiosulfate and incubating for 5 minutes, 3 mL water was added and the supernatant was removed, seeds were washed three times for 20 minutes with 15 mL water then transferred to ABRC where they were stored at 4C for 19 hours (overnight) then divided into 100 equal portions by volume and planted in 100 flats, M2 seed from each flat was collected as a pool; albino sectors were observed in 354 M1 plants and 5% of M2 seedlings are albino; individual pools from the set are available by special request
